Stay at Home Challenge - week 3

My dear Creative friend,

How is the situation at your end of the world? We heard yesterday that our total lock down is extended with another two weeks till the 15th of April. I know that many of you feel restless and stressed during these days and I hope that painting will get your mind of everything that is happening!

I love seeing the paintings that you made with the colours of last week. Here is a new picture that can serve as colour inspiration!

For those who would like a subject to paint, this beautiful landscape will get your juices flowing for sure!

Subject Picture - week III (by Illiya Vjestica)

For this weeks challenge I am going to use Cadmium Yellow Medium, Chromium Oxide Green, Transparent Oxide Orange, a bit of Permanent Mauve to tone down the yellow (the complementary color of Yellow is Purple, so it greys the color), Titanium White, Ivory Black and Titanium Buff. If you don’t have a green you like, you can mix your own beautiful greens with your blues and yellows (making color swatches of different greens is a very good and relaxing exercise!) I love Yellow Ocre mixed with Ivory Black!
